- Moisture Resistant: A study by The Energy Materials Testing Lab (EMTL) has shown that Expanded Polystyrene products do not absorb appreciable moisture, even under conditions characteristic of prolonged, cold, damp winters.
- Temperature Cycling: Our building products are able to withstand the abuse of temperature cycling, ensuring long-term performance.
- Environmental Impact: Our superior line of products is manufactured from an inert, organic material made of petroleum and natural gas by-products. This means there are no harmful chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) or hydro chlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs).
- Resource Efficient: Our featherweight, Foamcore products use less energy and create less pollution than traditional concrete products.
- Landfill Safe: EPS is inert and stable. EPS does not produce methane gas or contaminating leachates.
- Recyclable: EPS is 100% recyclable; it can be incorporated into a variety of consumer and industrial products, or thermally processed to make resin that can be used to remanufacture new polystyrene products.
